Sentosa’s Skyline Luge has a 4-day-only Halloween Night Luge experience perfect for daring thrill seekers

by Marcus Leong

Spooky season is finally upon us again — and while it’s not common for our houses in Singapore to be decked out in decorations like cobwebs, headstones and jack-o-lanterns for the season… Or for us to indulge in the yummy goodness of trick or treating, our sunny island still has our very own way of being festive for Halloween.

Some of us might indulge in scary movie marathons on Netflix, scream our heads off at Halloween Horror Nights, or maybe even go on a little ghost hunting expedition, the list just goes on.

Now, how about taking the scary stuff to the next level?

In the spirit of All Hallows’ Eve, Sentosa’s beloved attraction, the Skyline Luge, will be transformed into an adrenaline-pumping Halloween-themed attraction for four nights only on 20, 21, 27 and 28 October 2023.

If you’re familiar with the ride, the luge takes you down a series of twists and turns amidst lush greenery and beautiful forest scapes. Sounds pretty harmless right? Well, it is — provided you’re riding in the day. Come night time, the entire track transforms into a haunting ground for ghosts and ghouls that might be lurking in the shrubs nearby.

This year, Skyline Luge has teamed up with True Horror Stories POV to deliver an unforgettable, hair raising night of terror. The theme for the Skyline Luge halloween ride is Revenge of Mariam. Who is Mariam? What happened to her? And why does she want revenge? We’ll let you figure that out on your own — don’t wanna spoil the fun.

Unlike the regular night drive, you can expect to be riding down a dimly lit track. There will also be “things” jumping out of the bushes to give you a little surprise — because what’s halloween without some screams. While the explicit details of the event haven’t been revealed just yet, one thing’s for sure is you should keep your eyes on the road and never take your hands off the wheel.

Another Pro tip: if you smell the scent of frangipanis, or just anything sweet while riding downslope, you probably shouldn’t stop!

Tickets for the Halloween Night Luge event are available for booking now and only available for booking online, and will cost S$38/pax for three luge and skyrides
