Here are 10 Korean cleansing oils to use in your daily skincare routine

by June Ngooi

We all deserve to feel fresh and pretty and what better way to achieve that than to ensure that our face is well taken care of and given the nourishment it deserves?

In recent years, beauty trends have been on the rise leading to a surge of sales of beauty products as people (like me) started to place more serious emphasis on the face.

The 10 step Korean skincare regime was one that took over the world by storm. However, most people use cleansing oils as a method to remove oil and makeup on one’s face using the oil cleansing method (OCM).

You must be wondering, what makes OCM so special? Well, most cleansing oils naturally come with an emulsification process such that when combined with water, is able to efficiently dissolve dirt and sebum to unclog pores, providing a revitalising and hydrated finish.

The OCM is very straightforward: all you have to do is massage the oil cleanser on dry skin and rub it all over your face before removing it with a damp cloth. Finish off with a quick second cleanse with a water-based cleanser and you’re good!

Cleansing oils are considered an essential to skincare routine as well as being the first step in achieving glowing and hydrated skin!
