Our childhood cartoon companion Crayon Shinchan has been getting a lot of love in Singapore lately. First, he got his own cafe earlier this year and now, Crayon Shinchan is getting his own line of exclusive drinks at Yomie’s Rice x Yogurt from 13 August 2021.
The popular chain is not only launching exclusive drinks but also a limited-edition tote bag with a kawaii print of Shinosuke in uniform. Crayon Shinchan fans would definitely want to get this into their collection.
Yomie’s Rice X Yogurt has come up with two new drinks in this tie-in with Muse Communication Singapore for Crayon Shinchan The Movie: School Mystery! The Splendid Tenkasu Academy, an upcoming release in September.
For the chocolate lovers, there’s a Chocolate Banana Yogurt (S$6.60) which is a decadent concoction of banana, chocolate syrup, and Hershey bits.
It’s the classic combination of chocolate and banana, so expect richness mixed with that fragrant banana sweetness, an unbeatable combo. It wouldn’t be too cloying either, since there will be a nice sprightly touch of refreshing yogurt in the drink to cut through the heaviness.
If you prefer something a bit more floral, you might prefer the other of Yomie’s Crayon Shinchan exclusive, the Sakura Bloom Yogurt (S$6.60).
The yogurt is perfumed with the elegant notes of sakura syrup, while some vibrant pink Sakura Konjac Jelly adds a gentle chewiness to it and make it look all pretty for your IG stories.
That’s not all though, their drinks will be packaged with one of 5 seals that feature each of the 5 lovable characters in Shinchan’s friend clique, including himself.
In addition to all that, there’s a limited edition Crayon Shinchan X Yomie’s tote bag up for grabs when you collect 5 Crayon Shinchan loyalty stamps. Each drink will get you a chop on your loyalty card, so get to collecting if you wanna snag yourself some adorable merch.
As mentioned before, Yomie’s Crayon Shinchan collab is for the soon-to-be-released Crayon Shinchan The Movie: School Mystery! The Splendid Tenkasu Academy.
