Music is in our DNA.
I mean, humans are basically walking, talking jukeboxes. And me? I’m no exception. I live for karaoke nights (unfortunately admin has been told she’s terrible).
But I get you, karaoke is expensive.
So, in the spirit of saving both your wallet and my dignity, I’ve done the hard work and done up a karaoke compilation of the cheapest KTVs in Singapore so that we can save and play.
1. Partybox KTV

If you’ve ever belted out a power ballad in a karaoke room, you probably already know Partybox KTV. Their deluxe room is just S$28 per hour and fits up to 12 people, perfect for a chaotic friend group or a questionable corporate bonding session.
Oh, also you can bring outside food in!
Now, here’s the real tea: if you’re a student (play jealousy, jealousy by Olivia Rodrigo), you can snag a two-hour session for just S$9.90 nett per person. All you have to do is flash your student pass.
This sweet deal is only available Monday to Friday, from 12pm to 6pm, so skip class wisely. I mean, plan your schedule responsibly while looking through this karaoke compilation.

2. Jewel Music Box

This is a true OG in the karaoke scene, Jewel Music Box has been keeping Singaporeans entertained since 1993, aka before some of us were even born (at least admin).
You’ll need at least three people to book a session, but trust me, the deal is worth it.
It starts from S$12 per person on weekdays and S$15 on weekends or public holidays. For these prices, you get three hours of karaoke madness, complete with free-flow drinks and snacks.
And, this is only available from 1pm to 7pm.
Or, you can opt for the All-Night Karaoke from S$16 per person on Monday to Thursday, and S$18 per person on Friday to Sunday.
There are just a couple of things to take note of. The last admission is at 10pm, so don’t stroll in thinking you can start your fun at midnight.
And, you can find them at Khatib, Jurong Safra, Punggol, and Pasir Ris. So, you can plan your day properly before ending off with a karaoke session.

3. Cash Studio

If you want your karaoke session to feel like a full-on concert, Cash Studio is the place to be.
They’ve got retro microphones, mini-stages, and even a revolving disco ball so you can go all out and perform. They’re also a solid choice if you’re into Japanese and Tagalog songs, with one of the widest selections in Singapore.
And here’s a little secret: if you’re a Cash Studio member, you get a free room extension if no one has booked the room after you. So if you time it right, you might just get extra hours of singing for free.
Their four outlets are Cuppage Plaza, Prinsep Street, Clarke Quay Central, and Djitsun Mall in Bedok. Prices vary by location, but you can expect rates starting from S$13.10 for a two-hour session on weekday afternoons.
Just a heads-up: each outlet has different timings, so double-check before showing up ready only to face disappointment. Or, you can look through the rest of the karaoke compilation.

A classic name in Singapore’s karaoke scene, Party World KTV knows how to keep the party going.
Their Happy Hour Special Promotion runs from 3pm to 7pm, where you can get a two-hour session from S$16 per pax. Plus, your choice of two non-alcoholic drinks or one alcoholic drink because let’s be real, sometimes a little liquid courage helps with those high notes.
What really sets Party World apart is its insane song selection. They’ve got tunes in 10 different languages, including English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Indonesian, Thai, and Vietnamese.
So whether you’re vibing to K-pop, C-pop, or just some good ol’ Western hits, they’ve got your back.

5. Candy K-Bar

Candy K-Bar has one of the sweetest aesthetics I’ve seen. Located at TripleOne Somerset, it’s literally a stone’s throw from Somerset MRT, so there’s no excuse not to drop by for a quick sing-along session.
They have the cheapest deal in this list, a weekday two-hour session for just S$8.80 per pax, anytime before 6.30pm. And, it even comes with a free drink and snack.
And honestly? Even their regular prices for a two-hour session are pretty reasonable.
For weekdays after 6.30pm, it’s S$17.90 per pax. If you’re coming on the weekends, it’s S$12.90 per pax. Additionally, this comes with a free drink.
They’ve got 18 themed rooms, each uniquely designed for a fully immersive karaoke experience. So whether you want to sing your heart out in a neon-lit party room or a cosy lounge setting, they’ve got the vibe to match.
