There are few things that bring Singaporeans together like chicken. We love our chicken rice, panic over our chicken supply (or lack thereof), and have debates about which brand of fried chicken is the best.
Despite the countless new fried chicken places popping up, KFC remains a classic we all know and love. To celebrate the fast food restaurant’s 45th anniversary, check out the #MEANDMYKFC installation at VivoCity from 6th to 10th July.
Remember KFC’s streetwear collaboration with local fashion brand Amos Ananda last year? You’ll be able to try on the highly sought-after button-up shirts and bucket hats from the limited-edition drop.
Strike a pose in front of pretty red backgrounds and neon lights, or snap a couple of fun pictures with the gigantic Zinger Burger and other KFC-themed props.
You’ll also get a free try at the gachapon machine, which contains enamel pins, stickers, and special 45th anniversary KFC vouchers. If you’re feeling lucky, you can also give the claw machine a shot to see if you can score a limited-edition KFC soft toy.
Plus, challenge yourself to lift a 12kg cage of fried chicken like the KFC staff do every day, or play a game of foosball at the KFC-themed foosball table with a Colonel Sanders goalkeeper. Besides that, there are also old KFC figurines on display, including ones of Colonel Sanders playing tennis and playing soccer.
Make sure you hurry down, because the first 4,500 people to visit the pop-up will also receive a free 2-piece chicken voucher. But don’t worry even if you miss that — all visitors will get a limited-edition token to celebrate the occasion.
And if all that talk of fried chicken is making you hungry, KFC is also having special S$4.50 deals from 1st to 28th July for dine-in, takeaway, and delivery.
