You know what’s better than bubble tea? Bubble tea with a little bit of alcohol. Nothing helps lighten the mood after a hectic day like some adult juice — especially when it’s Signature KOI’s carefully-concocted alcoholic bubble tea creations.
And if you’re a fan of their alcoholic bubble tea like us, then you’d be glad to hear that 2 new drinks will be introduced next month — the VSOP Chocolate and Whiskey Oriental.
These two new boozy creations will be available at all Signature KOI outlets starting from 1st July 2021.
Chocolate and ice cream are obviously a match made in heaven, but what if you add some Brandy into the mix? You can try it out yourself with the VSOP Chocolate (S$10.60) where you get the best of three worlds.
A splash of Brandy VSOP is added to chocolate milk, then finished with creamy Chocolate Ice Cream and biscuit bits. Signature KOI also lets you add toppings such as boba, mini bubbles, konjac pearls and coconut jelly to complete the bubble tea experience.
If the base alcoholic content of 2 per cent isn’t enough for you, you can up the dose with an extra shot of Brandy VSOP at S$3.
But if you’re not one for the sweet decadence of all that chocolate, you can go for the elegant Whiskey Oriental (S$14.90).
Unlike Signature KOI’s other new creation, this is a more straightforward concoction that’s made by infusing Whiskey into KOI’s popular Oriental Beauty Tea for some malty notes.
Similar to the Chocolate VSOP, the alcoholic content is 2 per cent and Whiskey shots can be added for S$3.
Both drinks will be available at all Signature KOI outlets. In addition, customers will also be entitled to 50 per cent off their second drink for all alcohol series beverages, running from 1 July 2021 till 15 July 2021.

- Rum & Raisin Earl Grey Milk Tea
- VSOP Ruby
- VSOP Chocolate
- Whiskey Oriental
Of course, the drinks are alcoholic so those under 18 years old or wearing school uniforms won’t be able to grab a cup.
