The Ordinary just dropped its new concealer, and it’s going for only $9.
The skincare company started out with a serum line, and soon launched a foundation series which quickly became a cult-favourite. So it’s no surprise that they’re following up with the concealer.
Hides scars, acne and hyperpigmentation

The Ordinary Concealer currently has 36 shades which corresponds with the foundation series, and 15 more shades will be released by this year.
The product is reviewed to be highly pigmentated and works perfect for masking acne scars, dark circles, and hyperpigmentation. The concealer shades have also been created to be slightly lighter than the foundation’s since research has pointed out this preference.
36 shades for any and everyone

Shades are categorized into four categories: 1 for fair to lighter tones; 2 for medium tones; 3 for dark/deep tones; and 4 for deeper tones.
In addition, huge focus is placed on the undertone, and despite being matte, the product does not look flat on skin.
With letters added to the shade code to identify the undertone, users will have an easier time deciding on what suits their skin most. P (pink) and R (red) indicate cool undertones, while N indicates a neutral undertone and Y (yellow) indicates a warm undertone.
Easy application that lasts over long hours of wear

The concealer is housed in a small tube with a thin nozzle for easy application. Testers of the brand have also feedbacked that the undertones remain seated throughout long wears of the formula – a rare find in the cosmetic line.
The Ordinary makeup for just $9
At just $9, we expect the product to fly off the shelves once it reaches Singapore. Though it hasn’t been launched locally, the concealer can be purchased on Beauty Bay or The Ordinary site itself.
If you can’t wait, there are some listings already on carousell. However, they’re slightly marked up – a small price to pay for good skin.
