At the heart of this year’s Changi Festive Village festivities lies the sweetest spectacle — the Candy Wonderland at Terminal 3 which features a super cuddly five-metre-tall teddy bear, a seven-metre-tall cupcake ferris wheel, a sprinkles pool, and an IG-worthy candy cane lane

Two very adorable Dino-mascots will also be making an appearance to pose for pics with. Trust me, you’ll definitely want to take pics with them because they’re irresistibly cute!

The best time to head down is on Fridays and Saturdays as there’ll be special performances by buskers, jugglers and even a live marching band — they’ll be marching from T3 arrival hall up to the Candy world setup while playing some of your favourite Christmas hits so you definitely do not wanna miss that.

I’m dreaming of a white Christmas”

Does that tune sound familiar? Snow is always synonymous with Christmas so of course there has to be snow here! Get ready to meet Rudoloph the Rednosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, and more at the Candy Snow House. Entry to the snow house is priced at S$18 for an hour of playtime in the snow.

Since it doesn’t (naturally) snow in sunny Singapore, you can still beat the heat inside the enchanting Candy Snow House that is complete with colourful Christmas trees, an igloo, and many intricately carved ice sculptures.

In case you’re wondering, yes there is actual fake snow inside the snow house and it can get pretty cold in there. But don’t worry, winter coats and boots will be provided on-site. Additionally, you can rent waterproof pants, gloves, and more from just S$3.50

Inside the snow paradise, you can pose for pictures with the live-sized Frosty the snowman, or hop on Santa’s ice sleigh for a joy ride. To make things even more fun, there are three five-metre-long slides for you to race down with your friends.

There’s also a three-metre-long ice luge to slide down and honestly, I don’t know which was more fun, as they were both so thrilling to slide down.

While you’re there, you can get a quick workout in by pulling your friends around on the hand-pulled sleigh — this one is a real workout. Other fun games include snow bowling, mini golf and even basketball. The snow house is open from 12pm to 10pm daily so you can head down any time you need an escape from the heat.

After spending some time in the icy cold chamber, it’s time to get warm and toasty, and fill up your tummies at the Candy Carnival with plenty of fun carnival games like VR shooting, alongside old-school games like knocking down cans and more.

Of course, a staple at any carnival is the super addictive claw machines stocked with humongous plushies. The claw machines here are stocked with cute Disney themed plushies like Winnie The Pooh, Mickey Mouse, Aliens from Toy Story and more.

Think you have what it takes to bag one of these plushies home? Then make sure to give the machines a go! Games start from as low as one token, which can be exchanged at the entrance of the carnival.

There’s also a mini go karting track for you to race your pals to the finish line. For just six tokens, you get five minutes on the track and while there’s no prize for the winners, we’ll let you win bragging rights if you beat your friends — just be sure not to bully the kids on the track.

After a round of games, fill your tummies with some of your favourite carnival classics like nachos, corn dogs, takoyaki, and more! There’ll also be food trucks outside the carnival grounds with viral snacks like tornado potato, Korean cheese coin pancakes, and Thai moo ping, amongst others.

Remember the cute Disney-themed photo booths? They’ll also be available at T3 Arrival Hall for you to take plenty of cute photo strips to commemorate the wonderful and sweet-tastic evening!

Once again, the Changi Festive Village 2023 festivities will be running from now until 31 March 2024, so make sure to head down and soak in all the festivities!
